Super simple and yummy fruit dessert recipes to make for autumn and winter events and Christmas gatherings. Impressive treats.

Either as a final dinner party course, a teen party dessert, or a delicacy to go with coffee or tea at a friendly get-together anytime, these lovely and easy treats will delight party guests, friends, and/or family.

These recipes are easily adaptable to smaller or larger servings per person, so exact amounts are not included in the first two. After a dinner, guests may prefer smaller servings, while teens may rather have bigger amounts.

Ice Cream with Elegant Peach Topping Recipe:

This elegant recipe is easy and can be adjusted to various amounts.

Ingredients:

  • Vanilla ice cream (figure 1-3 scoops per person)
  • Canned, sliced peaches (about one can per 3-4 servings)
  • Honey (about a tablespoon per serving)
  • Chopped, toasted pecans (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place desired amount of ice cream in single-serve bowl (1-2 scoops, for instance)
  2. Top ice cream with peaches and a bit of juice from the peaches
  3. Drizzle honey over the ice cream and peaches
  4. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, as desired

Easy Apples with Caramel Sauce Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Tart green apples (such as Granny Smith), washed and unpeeled
  • Purchased caramel dip (generally sold in the produce section – Marzetti’s for instance)

Directions:

  1. Cube apples into pieces approximately one-half inch each
  2. Place about one-half cup apples into single-serve bowls
  3. Heat caramel dip per product instructions
  4. Pour dip over apples (in amount desired)
  5. Serve immediately

Super Fast and Easy Bananas Foster Recipe – Only 15 Minutes From Start to Serve!

Much easier than the traditional recipe and without the alcohol, this is a pretty and yummy treat. The combination of warm sauce and cold ice cream is terrific.

This recipe makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled and diagonally sliced (about ¼” thick)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • Approximately ½ gallon vanilla ice cream

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in large skillet
  2. Stir in brown sugar and stir lightly until melted and mixed
  3. Add bananas to same skillet and cook gently (keeping bananas intact) with wooden spoon, over medium heat, for about two minutes or until heated through but not mushy
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon
  5. Gently stir in orange juice
  6. Cook just another 30 seconds, stirring gently
  7. While warm, scoop ice cream into single serve bowls and top with bananas and sauce
