Delicious Fruit Dip Recipes that are Fun and Easy to Make

Fruit of some type is always in season. And it is never out of place at any party. Everyone enjoys eating fruit. It is delicious, easy to fix and good for you. A colorful fruit tray can be a stunning centerpiece, especially to warm weather parties and get togethers.

You can use any type of fruit for these dips. Here are some suggestions for fruits to serve with these dips. Check out your local farmer’s marker for fresh fruit. Organic fruit is best. If you cannot get that be sure and thoroughly wash your fruit before serving.

Try having themed trays – such as all tropical fruits like papayas, mangoes and bananas. Grapes, apples and strawberries are perfect for kid’s parties. A berry tray, with toothpicks for picking them up, is great for brunches.Remember to sprinkle cut apples and bananas with lemon juice to keep them from turning brown.

Fruit and dip is perfect for snacking to0. Just keep a container of fresh fruit in the fridge and some of these dips and you won't need candy around to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Lemon Vanilla Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Blend cream cheese & yogurt together until smooth.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients – vanilla, lemon rind, sweetner. Chill.

Yield: Makes 2 cups or 8 servings.

Easy Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

7 ounce jar of marshmallow crème topping

1 tablespoon lemon juice

8 ounce package cream cheese – softened and at room temperature

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together. Chill in refrigerator.

Kahlua Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

Directions:

Combine all ingredients together in medium size mixing bowl. Refrigerate overnight or for several hours.

Fresh Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Whip cream on high speed with blender.
  2. Place beaten egg, sugar, lemon juice and peel into a small saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat 5 minutes until thick. This should be really thick.
  3. Remove from heat and cool.
  4. Fold cooled mix carefully into whipped cream.

Yield: 6 servings
